Want to incorporate the encouragement movement in your school? Here are some ideas:
1. Have a food drive to benefit a local charity.
2. Make encouragement a part of your classroom.
• History: Take time to study those who made a positive difference in history. Ideas? Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Ghandi, etc.
• Art: Make cards for family members, troops, hospital patients- anyone who could use a little encouragement.
• English: Choose uplifting literature for your class to read or write a poem, story or paper about encouragement.
3. Have an encouragement assembly or party at your school on September 12th.
